One of the most rewarding projects of the Guide Right Program has evolved to be the Christmas Toy Give-a-way. Since this program was introduced in 2000, we have faithfully provided gifts to 150 families of low economic status. Kappa Alpha Psi works in conjunction with Agency Partners, Inc., headquartered in the South Bay. The Brothers of Berkeley Alumni gave toys to the youth in our communities on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, for their annual Christmas Toy Give-Away. Toys were distributed to youth at two locations, DeFremery and Brookfield Parks, in Oakland, CA. Members of Berkeley Alumni have established this tradition for the past nine years. In the last hours, we received over 300 toys for underprivileged youth from a company from San Jose, CA. They came on Kappa time to deliver a wonderful treat to the youth to inspire them with something that will last forever and that is giving.

Berkeley Alumni Chapter meetings are held the second Saturday of every month at the St.Augustine's Episcopal Church, 525 29th Street (@ Telegraph Ave.), in Oakland, California. Meetings start promptly at 4pm until 6pm.
